For the first time in South Florida, it is our distinct
honor to welcome the lovely, Faten Munger of Cairo, Egypt! Don’t
miss your opportunity to learn from this multi-talented artist who has
mastered two beautiful dance forms and unites them brilliantly on stage! She
holds a Diploma from the Conservatory of Music in Cairo, Egypt; she studied
at the University of Cairo and has received a Diploma from the Royal Academy
of Music in London. A classically trained concert pianist and also
professionally trained Spanish Flamenco Dancer, Ms. Munger’s musicality
shines through in her performances. For the past 25 years she has
been the Director and Choreographer of Flores de Sevilla International
Dance Company which performs often for international festivals and theater
productions. Her study of Spanish dancing began in Seville, Spain,
in 1982. Afterwards she studied at Northeastern Illinois University, and,
in 1986, she completed her advanced studies in Madrid, Spain, under Saturnino
Gonzales. Her other teachers have included Dama Libby Komaiko, Paco
Alonso, Manolo Vargas, Sergio Bahamondes, Victorio Korjhan, Maria Alba
and Manolo Rivera in the United States and Maria Magdalena and El Guito
in Spain.
